Re: PSX Compatibility List
We really need to get on the ball, contributing to this list, I went through and changed the status on quite a few games that have been working for almost a month, now, but, were never updated. Much of the error reporting is happening directly on the Discord group. In the official MiSTer Discord group there is a channel called PSX Core Testing whe...

I like Shinobi. 😁 Hopefully Sega System 32 (Spider-Man) will be taken under consideration. People please donate to Jotegos Patreon for these wonderful releases. Jotego has more than enough at this time, in particular he has to work on some loaner Arcade PCBs. Once he gave his schedule and it is really full I think no free time before the second pa...

Re: Duke 3D Atomic Edition not launching anymore
Head to the command line and try to launch the game manually, does it give you any kind of error/feedback? Also, make sure you manually unmount everything in the CD folders, and then try again. Backspace unmounts. Grabbed an image apparently dos believes there's no CD inside of the drive. ALT-F5 when you get back to TDL will also show the last scr...

Re: Duke 3D Atomic Edition not launching anymore
What is the error you get? I noticed that after the change that fixed the IDE flags , that I have two CDROM's present and I needed to load the CD in the second drive in some cases. The error in question is whenever I launch the game using sound blaster it starts loading and takes me back to the TDL. This only occurs with Atomic Edition, the origin...

Duke 3D Atomic Edition not launching anymore
Ever since I updated my mister via update script.
I have the CD mounted (cue) before each load off of the START.BAT game refuses to launch. It used to work fine, meanwhile the original Duke 3D is working fine

Fighting Force boots very slowly into a blank screen with sound
Street Fighter EX2 Plus freezes if demonstration is left on for about an hour and a half or less
Couldn't get Advanced V G 2 to work (tried 3 different roms)

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core
@Captain FPGA: I think multitrack is turned on by default now but it is in the debug menu on the core. For me a lot of games wouldn't work because i didn't run the update mister main unstable script, once i did that most games seem to be working with audio. Playstation games bin+cue or chd go in the games folder in a folder called PSX. Did you dow...

So, I read most of this thread. Followed Akuma's post to a t. Why do this manually? Go here and follow the steps, and execute step 4 regardless. i used scripts to update to latest and it not works. i was thinking something went wrong, thats why i compared CRC with the one people post here and it matched, so i use latest and it still dont work do i ...

I believe for the Atari controller there maybe bliss controllers? https://bliss-box.net/blisster/ https://bliss-box.net/store/Bliss-Box-Cable-AKA-SNAC-Cable-your-pick-10-p198410399 I recommend getting a BlisSTer. It's a zero latency solution plus it let's you use almost any controller on any core. My understanding was the Jaguar is still too early....

Re: New Jotego arcade due for public release tomorrow
Haven't heard of this one. I dig the title! Think I'll resub to his Patreon if Sega System 32 hardware (the one that runs Spider-Man) gets implemented. Seeing as how he'd done other Sega arcades that share the same hardware framework, hoping my Spidey board has a shot. Even though that machine is more powerful and I haven't seen diagrams of said bo...

Re: Transferring Games from Top 300 TDL to MyMenu.
I think the menu on its own is here: https://github.com/flynnsbit/DOS_Shareware_MyMenu But yes, it would make sense with the Top 300 I think, because MyMenu so far is only based on Shareware games and such. So its easier to share without any breaking of copyright and such. Its also based on FreeDOS, which might have compatibility issues with some ...

Transferring Games from Top 300 TDL to MyMenu.
Haven't installed MyMenu yet. Does it require making a VHD or does it come pre-packaged? My original TDL came pre-packed was guided through pushing a few buttons then bam! Insta-success! What will I need to do for the transition? Is it as simple as switching the games from the old folder to the new one? I am aware this MyMenu comes prepacked with s...

Re: Question about CD audio
AO486 is already tight in both FPGA resources AND timing. It may just be that getting it in there was going to push things over the edge. That core is already in a state where it doesn't necessarily successfully compile every time. Almost any feature you think 'why doesn't ao486 do this?' the answer is FPGA resources/timing failures. I see so it's...

What device did you use to copy your own nes rom? Was thinking about creating backups of my real nes collection. I used the Retrode to copy Megadrive and Super and but it bricked.

Re: Question about CD audio
Ah-hah! So CD audio is on the way for PSX and it's at the halfway point. That was fast! You're right for some reason I did not think about the Sega CD that has all kinds of FMVs accompanied by sound. So we know the Mister can handle it. Still leaves a big question mark on the Ao486. Maybe I'll ask over there. Had no idea SNES shared a sound chip wi...

Fatal Fury - Wild Ambition - Playable but no music. Sound effects, fightshouts, announcer quotes are definitely there. Sayings like Power Wave! Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha - Same as Fatal Fury. Bloody Roar 2 - See Fatal Fury. Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro - Stage music works at least. Most voice-overs like for the X-Men characters are noticeably miss...

Question about CD audio
I heard CD audio wasn't implemented yet. Which is confusing to me since I used to think CD audio was all PS1 games had. But apparently there is separate audio used for things like full motion video that music is missing from the core. I'm sure the dev is aware of this and doing everything within their power to make it work. That said I thought the ...

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core
EDIT: Just like everyone else in this thread when they crossed the proverbial THE SHIT IS FINALLY WORKING! finish line. Why didn't you soley use the script on page #1? It seems to do everything afaict. The only exception is that it updates the MiSTer main, if you haven't updated it in a while. Which was preferable then, but now not so much. @Akuma...

Re: 32X
Am I just not seeing this core or is it with the Genesis/MD core? I know TC we got the Megadrive and the CD, 32X would make the trifecta! Unfortunately, there aren't any devs rn working on it. I'm not even sure if they're interested given the very opinionated flak this thing gets for it's library. I don't care what anyone says Knux Chaotix is the ...

Re: Nightly Public Builds for the PlayStation Core
So I grabbed the latest psx rbf file and the unstable psx script. Used the script to update main to the latest unstable. I know updating main worked because when I tried the script again it said I already have the very latest. When I boot to a game I get a blank screen. I red a post that had a similar problem and they cleaned up which resolved the...
