Update All Timing Out Way To Terminate?

Unread post by dyne »

I set the update all script to run last night to a usb drive. My only option is wireless so I figured it would take a while. Woke up this morning and it's still going and every rom is timing out, however each one is taking three minutes. Is there a way to terminate this script or do I just wait it out? Also I'm hoping when I rerun the script it will download whatever was missed the first pass?

i think ctrl+c will kill the script, alternatively i believe you might lower the timeout value in the script itself by editing it once you killed the current one.

Cancelled it out and started to rerun it again. Immediately on the arcade roms I get

Downloading Wizard of Wor (Speech).mra
curl: (28) Operation timed out after 179686 milliseconds will retry in five seconds.

*update* finally got a cable strung and it's working. Still no idea why wireless was timing out so quickly.

*update 2* Still seems to be timing out with a wired connection while grabbing the MAME roms.
