Sega Astro City (MS/9) MiSTercade - Vertical hold adjust?

Unread post by brandonx76 »

***UPDATE*** I solved it - had to update the mister.ini file.

thanks all!

Hey all -

Anyone know if this issue is common?

I configured MisterCade as per instructions here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veZFxTawDJ0

I connected MiSTerCade to jamma, but I'm getting this flickering/stuttering image. See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDX-og6HOY0

Normally on other arcade chassis's, I just adjust vertical or horizontal hold via breakout control, however the person I bought the Astro City from says its not usually necessary given the nature of the toshiba/MS9 board. There are adjustments on the main chassis, but no vertical hold which is what I think I may need to adjust. however, i'm wondering if this is a setting I need to adjust on the Mister or Mistercade itself? I loaded the vertical profile for Mister.

Any info appreciated.

Try changing the composite sync setting in MiSTer.ini.
