Re: PS1/PS2 gamepad doesn't vibrate when using the converter
Same here, with my König adapter. I could get vibration to work on Windows with a special driver, so it is possible. Apparently the Linux driver on MiSTer, which works with these adapters, isn't supporting vibration effects currently.
Re: PS1/PS2 gamepad doesn't vibrate when using the converter
The vibration of the PS1/PS2 pads are from a 7 to 9 volt line. Nothing on the MiSTer supplies that.
As for the converter?
Perhaps your USB solution doesn't have enough amps

It is my great regret that we live in an age that is proud of machines that think and suspicious of people who try to.

Re: PS1/PS2 gamepad doesn't vibrate when using the converter
Vibration works with 5 volt already, someone on the Discord wrote that this is what the USB adapters use as well.
One of the new SNAC solutions supports the correct voltage when used with an external power supply, otherwise it will use 5 volt as well.

Same here using Super Dual Box Pro connect PS1 dualshock/PS2 dualshock2 to MiSTer, no vibration either can it be fixed in next update
