was anyone lucky enough to run ESXDOS on ZX Next core? I am reading it should work although some are reporting issues with this post version 20210409 of the core.
I am using a SD Card directry taken from my real ZX Spectrum Next where ESXDOS works as expected. The version of the soft on my SD is the same as on boot.vhd that comes with the ZX Next core and ESXDOS is 0.8.9. DivMMC is turned on in "personality" (in my case Soviet timings). When the machine boots up, there is no boot-up scren of ESXDOS as it happens on real ZX Spectrum Next. Then when I press F10 to trigger NMI, it just goes to 48K BASIC instead of opening the file browser.
I tried the ZX Next 20210409 to the same result so I presume my issue is different than others.
What could I be missing? Is maybe attaching a VHD from within the core menu necessary for DivMMC to operate?
