From RetroDriven to UpdateAll

Unread post by silentheaven83 »

Hi everybody,

I noticed that the RetroDriven script won’t be update from January 2021.

Since it uses a different folder structure from UpdateAll script, how do I “clean” the SD and start downloading all over again with the UpdateAll script without messing things?

Thanks

If you just run the Update All script you should be fine, there will be some leftovers from RetroDriven. I just did the switch which took me some time to figure out as I have my games directory on a USB HDD and I started to clean up the leftovers but they don't seem to interfere with the new update system.

Copying them manually is what I do. They aren't that large and the folder structure is simple, just /media/fat/wallpapers. I keep a backup of my saves and wallpapers on my pc, on the cloud, etc... in various places like that.

Here's the ones I use for reference, but this is nowhere near as comprehensive as it could be.
