Roadshow on MiniMig [Solved]

Anyone got this working?
I've had roadshow working on a 2000 via the Ethernet Vampire add-on, and A1200 and A600 via a PCMCIA ethernet adapter no problem but I cannot get it to work with MiSTer.
I have followed this thread:

but some parts don't make sense to me (as in I cant' figure out why some things are being done) but I followed the instructions anyway but with no joy.

This is now working. Misunderstanding on the PPP files on my part. Full explanation in the linked post for anyone interested
