On my CRT TV some games are displayed with horizontal overscan. I believe that's what the 320/304 toggle in the OSD is for, but it does nothing for me - I'm using Direct Video. I suppose it's the same problem as described in this github issue: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/NeoGeo_ ... issues/100
I was wondering if any other CRT user managed to slove this, perhaps using modelines and some other video-related settings? It's not really a big deal during gameplay, but for the sake of perfectionism it'd be nice to be able to correct this.

The 320/304 switch does not change the position of anything on analog output. It's more there for the sake of the scalar if you are using 4:3 or narrower resolutions.
In the meantime yes, you might be able to fix this using the scaler (i.e. direct video off, 1920x244 resolution, full aspect ratio, HV integer scale)

Re: 320/304px overscan on CRT TVs?
With direct video off, my image is out of sync. I'll try again tomorrow connecting via UMSA converter when I have some time, it's a bit more tolerant than the VGA cable I'm using now.
EDIT: ok, I got a stable image with your config, but there is no difference regarding overscan - some detail is still missing lef/right. Also, the image is shifted about 1 cm up vertically.
