Zelda2 - Tile index issue

Hi,

Probably a minor issue but while browsing nes games I noticed a specific issue with Zelda 2 while inside villages.
Some sprites (Ground, buildings and NPCs) have issues with wrong tile index being displayed.
I didn't see any other location in game where the issue is present.
Here's a screen grab :

Just reporting in case it's not specific to that particular rom.

Cheers

Is it happening in all villages?

I just tried (U.S. cartridge release and Japanese FDS) and the first village looks fine in both. If it's a village later in the game I can try on my end if you can provide a save file.

Thanks Dufus, it happens in all village.
All other areas are fine.
I never suspected the rom since they all run fine and I used them on various emulators prior to that.
I'll try another file to see if related to the rom.

I can say I have personally played the USA rom all the way through and didn't see anything like that. I've played about half of the Famicom disk version but didn't quite understand the leveling system and it didn't save in the way I though it would so.....fuck that version. Anyway, I didn't' notice anything wrong like what you are seeing. I'd like blame it on your ROM

A few months ago, I played the US version with that hash all the way through. No issues.
