Open Disk Images Directly?

Would it be possible to implement the option from Ultimate64 to open/show content .d64 (or any kind of diskimages) and start programs from it directly from the file requester? This would really be great. At the moment direct starting only works with .prg, diskimages must be mounted and then the program must be loaded separately. This is just a great feature from Ultimate64!
