Games Freezing (Metal Slug)

Has anyone experienced games freezing during game play. Notably Metal Slug 4 and 5. Haven't tried others but figured I'd ask in case it's a common issue, easy fix. Uni-bios.rom

Started from scratch and only ran the update-all script (not the built in update script) and it started working. Can only assume that the neo geo bios files that the update-all script downloads are the proper ones to use. I had manually uploaded some neo geo bios files and it seems to be the problem.

Glad you seem to have it resolved.
There is a
thread about Aero Fighters 2 glitching sometimes, and
the related Github thread has the suggested workaround of using a non-UniBIOS bios.
Just mentioning to say it's possible UniBIOS is causing issues with this core sometimes.
