I've been trying to play the new English patch for aconcagua and mister has been having a lot of troubles.

However I'm not sure if it's the patch itself or the core. Maybe someone can verify.

Basically the game doesn't retain save data after i close the core. It will seem to be reading and writing to the memory card while the game is still open but if I reset or come back later no save games stay.

Also save states do not work. In either the patch or the original game.

I tried to finish it without turning the system off, as it's a fairly short game, and it froze early into the second disc.

I also tried to finish the game in one go, but I also encountered this bug at the beginning of the second disc. Check more details here

this save bug is in the last release and has been fixed in the meanwhile.

Please use the latest testbuild from either discord or unstable nightlies, then memcard saving and savestates should work again.
