Ultrawide MiSTer (Alienware AW3423DWF)

Hi guys
I understand that the alienware aw3423dw (G-SYNC) wasn't really suitable for mister because
1. Could (although QD OLED) suffer from burn in
2. the monitor had > 16.7 ms lag at 60Hz
3. DIdn't support 1920 x 1440p
however as I understand this newer (slightly cheaper) model has done away with the G-SYNC module, I'm told this my change reason 3. I'm unsure if there is still the > 1 frame of lag at 60hz.
Anyone has / tested / or heard anything about this new revision, if not I would consider buying and testing for you guys.
