INI file for PVM 20L5?

Unread post by copperkiddx »

I have my MiSTer connected to a Sony PVM 20L5 and I love it so much. However, some cores don't display properly and I haven't had much luck tinkering with the ini file. This got me wondering if anyone has already gone through this and created a master INI file for this particular monitor. Does anyone know if this exists? I would be forever in your debt if you could share it with me. Thanks in advance!

Which cores? Are you using direct video or an analog IO board? Which inputs/input board are you using? Could you post your .ini file?

Sure, the X68000+ and TRS-80 are a couple of cores that I can't get right. Here are a few pics:

I wound up taking the non-working settings out of my INI file completely so this is what remains of it:

Code: Select all

My hope is to find someone who uses their MiSTer with a 20L5 who has already configured as many cores as possible for it, that way I can just use those settings and experiment with as many cores as possible at the correct resolution. Admittedly, this beautiful multifunction PVM a little above my pay grade but I want to be able to use to it's full potential!

And to answer your question, I'm using the analog port of my Ironclad Plus > SCART switcher > 20L5

Thanks for any help!

Hi

I'm in the same boat as you but with a different monitor (Sony PVM20M4E). I used the service menu and dialled it into where it looks as good as new but each core has different settings. A .ini file with all the preset, core specific settings, would be really handy!
