USB Dance Mat with Dance Dance Revolution

Has anyone had any look getting a new USB dance mat working with any of the DDR games. I purchased a new USB mat off amazon, as the original ones are hard to come by plus ill need a PS snac adapter.

The PSX core picks up the mat as an input device and i'm able to assign the buttons correctly, but i've tried 4 different DDR games with no luck so far.
If i do an input test from the Mister Utility screen, it doesn't seem to register there.

I've tried setting the controller from Dualshock to all the other various ones too.

Any advice?

If you are using the 3rd party USB mat I think you are then it will require some driver treatment I think.

This mat was tested on the PS Classic and it didn't work fully, with only some of the input responding on hacked models running RetroArch.

I used 2 of these:
https://www.amazon.de/KOET-Revolution-r ... B08DHMYN2J
While they worked, they were trash after about 5-10 hours each. Tried to fix...mediocre success.

Then i bought this:

together with additional buttons

Works like a dream. Don't know exact numbers, but we have 50-100 hours on it easily.

for your dance mat: make sure to map in both mister menu core(after booting up mister) and in the psx core itself.
