Cheap Target for FPGA Hackers

Unread post by skipH »

If your primary interest is in FPGA hacking and the DE10 is out of your price range you might want to look into surplus Pano Logic thin clients.

For about 1/2 of the cost of an SDRAM board ($25 ish) you can get hackable board with 128MBytes of SDRAM, VGA and HDMI interfaces, USB, Gigabit Ethernet based on a Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA with 147,443K logic cells.

You can find more information here: https://github.com/tomverbeure/panologic-g2/wiki if you are interested.

My apologies if this is too far off topic for this forum, if so please let me know I won't do it again!

It may be a little OT but it is very interesting. I will have a better look at it.
I see many Skip's projects on the link provided. Are you the one?
