Splatter House is something I would love to see on MiSTer. I hope some day soon this shows up!

Pretty sure Jotego has a Splatterhouse board in his possession and plans to eventually get to it.

I could be mistaken, but splatterhouse runs on Namco System 1 hardware which also runs Pac-Mania, Galaga 88, Dragon Spirit and Cosmo Gang. Would love to see all of these on the mister.

Yes a few of those games running on System 1 were ported to PSX by Namco for the Namco anthology releases, sadly Splatterhouse wasn't.
Maybe was down to slight variances in System 1 PCB/sound chip hardware?

Just tested and working great on MiSTer. For some reason on Pocket, all Jotego cores work great EXCEPT Splatterhouse (nor the two alternative Splatterhouse roms). All else working great with the jtbeta.zip file in the root and using an updater. On Splatterhouse, I get

'Error in framework
Missing 'Rom' ID[1]'

I realize this is the MiSTer forum and not Pocket, but if Jotego or his team read this, I thought it would be helpful to have the info in one spot.

I think there was updated beta file. It works great on my Analogue Pocket and MiSTer. Might just check the version of that beta zip file.

I'd like to see Cosmo Gang personally, but that game runs on the Namco System 2 board I believe.

Anyone else getting a bit of flickering lines in the middle of the screen to the left and right on level 1 in the Splatterhouse beta?
