AROS m68k on MiSTer/Minimig?

Hey all,

I thought it would be interesting to run AROS m68k on the MiSTer. I got the boot floppy and iso from here: https://aros.sourceforge.io/nightly1.php

The system boots and shows an AmigaDOS window, apparently it loads the AROS kickstart.

boot process 2

After that, the screen flashes red & black.

Does anyone have experience running AROS on the MiSTer? Or is there a reason why it cannot work?

Thanks, and a happy new new year!

Not an expert by any definition here, but AROS is said to need a lot of RAM and it also published it's own ROM for the 68k version. Maybe it's of some use.. going from very foggy memory here so apologies if I'm talking nonsense.

Isn’t it obvious that you should use the AROS kickstart instead of the AmigaOS 3.1 kickstart? It’s been a few years, but yes, I ran AROS/68k on MiSTer for a while.

Did you get anywhere with this? If so, I'd love to see your working configuration.

thanks
