Just a heads up for those that like new shiny things to play with 
Over on the Spectrum Computing Forums, a user by the name of "Prodatron" has produced a port of SymbOS to the ZX Next. See this thread for details and a very impressive video showing it multi-tasking like a beast!
The beta release is now available from the SymbOS site: http://www.symbos.org/download.htm#marke3 and it appears to work well so far on the MiSTer ZXNext core - here's a photo of it booting up on my system and running a few apps this morning:
