Approach for quickly changing core settings

Hi, I've picked up a guncon3 and using it with various cores I wondered if I was missing any way to quickly switch core settings? As I understand it, in some cores you change an input device between controller and zapper/guncon and need to do this for each time you switch hanger controller type, so I just wondered if like the main config ini there were ways to save multiple core settings and be able to quickly switch between them. You can save INI settings per core, but not "profiles" for one single core.

The only exception is the Amiga core, it has profiles for CPU and memory settings.

That said, you might be able to control a core startup sertings via MGL files:
